Background

Electrical and Instrument Engineering Consultancy Lao (ENILao) was officially registered and founded in Laos in December 2016 under the management of Ya Xiong who possessed the maturity of work experience more than 10 years in one of the largest mining companies in Laos. In December 2019, Mr Xiong graduated his master degree in electrical and electronics engineering at Flinders University in South Australia. Mr Xiong holds a certificate III in electrotechnology system electrician and a certificate III in instrumentation which was conducted by RMIT University in Laos at Sepon mine site. Mr Xiong also holds a higher diploma certificate which is majoring in electricity and a bachelor degree in electrical engineering in Laos. In the past, Mr Xiong used to work in the electrical and instrumentation sections in maintenance department at Sepon Copper and Gold Mine in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province Lao PDR as a field technician then progressed through to a variety of roles which are ranging from positions of trainer translator, supervisor and superintendent and were responsible for technical training in HR department.

2010

Passed the Licensed Electrical Assessment (LEA) at EPICITB (Victoria's Electrotechnology, Printing and Information Technology & Telecommunications, Industry Training Board) in Melbourne.

LEA

The LEA is a combination of three separate assessments, sat at three different times:

SWP

Safe Working Practice for Electricians Assessment (SWP). The SWP assesses the ability of safely disconnect/reconnect a piece of electrical equipment.

LET

Licensed Electrician Theory Assessment (LET). The LEA is covering a broad range of knowledge of many differences AS/NZS standards.

LEP

Licensed Electrician Practical Assessment (LEP). The LEP is a practical test in four parts: wiring a meter box and switchboard, MEN system, identifying visual defects and testing an installation.
